Then, get ready to be captivated by Jim Hudson! This Wolverhampton-based songwriter brings a fresh and original sound with strong Indie roots. JIM HUDSON
Wolverhampton based songwriter Jim Hudson writes new and original sounding music with strong Indie roots.
Unconventional yet melodic, his songs explore the depths of human experience through vivid metaphors and layered imagery.
Primary influences include Radiohead, Doves and Elliot Smith.
Having performed over recent years as a solo acoustic act, Jim has now assembled a band. Together they have played various venues across the West Midlands.

SLEUTH
A Group of Bears is called a Sleuth.
Described as ‘clever indie’ by SLAP magazine,
Sleuth has been played by Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson and featured a number of times on BBC Introducing. Sleuth has released material to great reviews; ‘Beautiful’ BBC Introducing, EP of the month (‘firmly establishes Sleuth as a deep meaningful and confident songwriter’ & ‘incredible EP’) from Ryan’s Gig Guide, ‘beautifully crafted ([EP]’ Express & Star, Midlands, who also ran an article with the headline ‘no mystery to this man’s talent’.
Sleuth have played shows with Quasi, The Wombats, Mark Morriss, John Bramwell and appeared at the International Pop Overthrow Festival at the Cavern in Liverpool three consecutive years.
Solo Sleuth also performed in London for Elliott Smith’s 50th Birthday Bash organised by My Favourite Elliott Smith Song Podcast to a sold out devoted Elliott audience.
RAWSoundTV invited Sleuth to film a session which aired on their YouTube channel
whilst HMV Worcester hosted an instore on a business pedestrianised Saturday.
